BOSTON, MA, USA – March 19, 2013 – EastBridge Engineering (www.eb-intl.com) today announced that Mr. Jackie Qi has joined the company as Vendor Management Engineer. With highly specialized knowledge in mechanical engineering, procurement, quality systems and international trade, Qi joins EastBridge’s team in Suzhou, Peoples Republic of China at an important time in its development and will facilitate the expansion of outsourced engineering and manufacturing management services.
In this assignment, Mr. Qi is responsible for directing EastBridge’s fee based sourcing programs including technical drawing interpretation and translation, factory auditing, pricing and commercial terms negotiation, sample generation and trial run, process optimization and logistics. He will report directly to Eva Hu, EastBridge’s Manufacturing Engineering & Sourcing Manager.
Qi has broad experience in castings, stampings, metal forming and turning, industrial hardware and electronic contract manufacturing (ECM). Most recently Wu was employed by SDP Telecom Company, a well respected Canadian supplier of high performance RF and microwave components. He has worked in Southeast Asia and North America.

Mr. Qi holds a bachelor’s degree granted by the Jiangsu Textile University’s department of Machinery and Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Information Technology granted by the Beijing Petroleum&Chemical Institute. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and several Chinese dialects. He lives with his wife and son in Suzhou, China.
