BOSTON, MA, USA – July 9, 2014 – EastBridge Engineering has announced the launch of production for the Kittyo, Kittyo’s family of unique cat products. Kittyo will allow the more than 36.1 million U.S. cat parents, as well as those around the world, to connect and interact with their furry companions while they’re away from home no matter the distance.
EastBridge has implemented a specialized turnkey program to coordinate vendor qualification, design transfer, sourcing, manufacture, quality assurance and logistics of Kittyo’s designs. The initial steps in this development project included reviewing the designs for manufacturability, coordinating the final manufacturing review (EMR), building tooling, coordinating production on-site at plastics molders and assemblers in the Asia-Pacific region. Prototyping and scale-up to volume production is now underway.
